Fly-in Only Troutfly Lake Deluxe Outpost Fishing Camp

Troutfly is our newest and most northerly outpost camp, located 100 miles north of our seaplane base in Armstrong and north of the famous Albany River.

Troutfly Lake is a beautiful clear water lake 5 miles long and 1.5 miles wide teaming with lake trout, walleye, northern pike and whitefish. World-class brook (speckled) trout are located in the creeks and ponds at the south end of the main lake providing a unique multi-species fishing experience. This 2500 acre body of water can be affected by high winds; however, this is overcome with a short walk (approximately 400 yards) behind the cabin to North Troutfly Lake where there are additional boats and motors waiting for you. From Troutfly Lake you can also venture into East Bay.

At this camp we have a 3 bedroom log cabin with shower, propane refrigerator, large propane freezer, propane stove, propane lights and screened in porch.

Troutfly Lake is a "conservation lake" and as such possession limits are reduced to 2 walleye, 2 northern pike and 1 lake trout. All trophy (large) fish are to be released. Brook (speckled) trout fishing is catch and release.

This single cabin private lake is suitable for 5, 6 or 7 day trips and groups of 4 to 10.
